LIMS Implementation in a Laboratory Environment
When a laboratory decides to implement a LIMS, the process usually starts out by looking at a user requirements document. This is something prepared in advance which would document the specific needs of the laboratory. Then the vendor and laboratory manger can begin the detailed implementation work. Through this process both sides will reach a higher level of understanding of what the LIMS will actually be required to do.
