Buy 2 MN Investment Properties In The Next 12 Months

The best way for you to set a real estate investing goal is to write it down. When you see it on paper it will be much easier to tell whether it is a viable goal or not (something you can actually accomplish). For instance, if you say, “I would like to be the richest man in the world by the end of the year,” that is not a viable goal if you are a clerk in a bookstore. You are just setting yourself up for failure. But if you are Donald Trump (on the other hand), it may be doable.

However, if you discover that your goal is not viable, or if it is simply too vague, you can modify it. The above goal can easily become, “I plan to buy 2 Minnesota Investment Properties in the next 12 months.” At that point, you can plan how to actually accomplish it. And you have a date by which time you can measure your success. How much wealthier can you be? Perhaps you should add that into the language of your goal.
